Ordering & Payment
Add the watch to your cart and check out securely online. You will receive an order confirmation by email right away, followed by a shipping notification with tracking once your watch is on its way. If you would rather talk it through first, contact a specialist and we can answer questions or reserve a piece for you.
We accept [PAYMENT METHODS: major credit cards, Apple Pay, bank wire?] through our secure checkout. For higher-value purchases, a bank wire may be requested and can sometimes reduce processing time. All card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
In many cases, yes. Contact us with the watch you are interested in and we can discuss a short reservation or deposit arrangement [DEPOSIT POLICY: e.g. 20% non-refundable deposit, 7-day hold?]. Because many of our pieces are one of a kind, reservations are confirmed only once agreed in writing.
[FINANCING: confirm whether a financing provider will be offered at checkout.] If financing is available, you will see the option at checkout along with the terms. Approval and rates are set by the financing provider, not by Caliber Watches. Questions? Just ask us.
Our prices are set carefully against current market data, condition and originality, so they are already competitive. That said, we are always happy to discuss trade-ins or a package price if you are purchasing more than one piece. Reach out and a specialist will be glad to talk.
Shipping & Delivery
We ship from Miami, Florida to all 50 US states, Canada and Europe. If you are outside these regions, contact us before ordering and we will let you know whether we can help. Full details are on our Shipping page.
Orders are typically prepared within [PROCESSING TIME: 1–2 business days?] of payment clearing. Domestic deliveries usually arrive within [US TRANSIT: 1–3 business days?] after dispatch. International shipments to Canada and Europe generally take [INTL TRANSIT: 3–7 business days?], plus any time spent in customs.
International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT or GST charged by the destination country. [DDP/DDU DECISION: state here whether Caliber Watches prepays duties (DDP) or the customer pays on delivery (DDU).] Watches made outside the destination region may attract higher rates, so contact us for an estimate before you buy.
Yes. Every order is fully insured while in transit until it is delivered and signed for [CONFIRM: insurance carrier and coverage]. Because a signature is required, please choose a delivery address where someone will be available to receive the package.
Watches are packed discreetly in plain outer packaging with no indication of the contents. Inside, your watch is protected and presented with care, ready to give as a gift if you wish. Original boxes and papers, when included, travel with the watch.
Authenticity & Condition
Yes. Every watch is inspected and authenticated by our specialists before it is listed, including the case, dial, hands and movement. Each purchase is backed by our authenticity guarantee. If a watch we sold you is ever shown not to be authentic, we will refund you in full.
We describe condition in plain language and back it up with honest photographs taken in natural light. You will see notes on scratches, polishing, patina and any replaced parts. If you would like more photos or a short video of a particular watch, just ask.
Treat every vintage watch as not water-resistant unless we state otherwise. Decades-old gaskets and crystals cannot be relied on to keep water out, even on dive models. A pressure test and new gaskets can improve resistance, but we still recommend keeping vintage pieces away from swimming and showers.
Some do and some do not. Each listing states clearly what is included, whether that is the original box, warranty card, manuals, extra links or service receipts. A watch without papers can still be an excellent purchase when properly authenticated.
Every watch is tested before it ships. Modern watches should perform close to manufacturer specifications. Vintage mechanical watches run within tolerances appropriate to their age and movement, which may be wider than a new watch. We note timekeeping results in the listing whenever possible.
Returns & Warranty
If a watch is not right for you, you may return it within [RETURN WINDOW: 14 days?] of delivery, provided it is unworn, unaltered and returned in the same condition with all included items. Contact us before sending anything back so we can arrange return shipping. Full details are on our Returns & Refunds page.
Once your return arrives and passes inspection, we issue a refund to the original payment method within [REFUND PROCESSING: 5 business days?]. Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional days to show the credit on your statement.
Yes. Watches sold by Caliber Watches include our mechanical warranty of [WARRANTY LENGTH: 12 months?] from the date of delivery, covering the movement’s function under normal use. Watches still under manufacturer warranty retain that coverage too. See Warranty & Authenticity for coverage and exclusions.
Our warranty does not cover water damage, accidental impact, normal wear to cases, crystals and straps, or damage caused by servicing or modification by a third party. Water resistance on vintage watches is never guaranteed. If in doubt, contact us and we will explain how coverage applies to your watch.
Servicing
As a general guide, many mechanical watches benefit from a service every five to ten years, depending on the movement, how often it is worn and the manufacturer’s recommendation. Signs it is time include poor timekeeping, a short power reserve or a chronograph that no longer resets cleanly.
Absolutely. We welcome watches from any source. Drop your watch off at our Miami showroom by appointment, or contact us for shipping instructions. We will assess it and send a written estimate before any work begins. Learn more on our Services page.
We take a conservative approach. Original dials, hands and patina are preserved wherever possible, and we never refinish a dial or replace a visible component without your approval. Any part we replace can be returned to you, so the watch’s history stays with it.
Timelines depend on the movement and whether parts need to be sourced. A routine service often takes [SERVICE TURNAROUND: 4–6 weeks?], while vintage restorations requiring rare parts can take longer. We confirm an estimated timeline with your quote and keep you updated.
