Product Descriptions and Condition

We describe and photograph every watch as accurately as we can. Pre-owned and vintage watches show signs of age and use, and minor variations in color or appearance may occur due to photography and screen settings. Unless expressly stated, vintage watches are not represented as water-resistant, and parts may have been replaced during previous servicing; known non-original parts are disclosed in the listing. Brand names are used solely to describe the products we sell. Caliber Watches is a licensed watch retailer. Brand names and logos shown on this site are trademarks of their respective owners and are used to identify the watches we offer. [CONFIRM: list the brands for which Caliber Watches is an authorized dealer.]

Pricing and Availability

Prices are listed in US dollars and exclude applicable sales tax, duties and import taxes unless stated. Many of our watches are one of a kind, and an item may sell before your order is completed. We reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors and to cancel any order affected by such an error, in which case any payment will be refunded in full.

Orders and Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch, not when you receive an automated order confirmation. We may decline or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, inability to verify identity or payment, or shipping restrictions to your destination.

Payment

We accept [PAYMENT METHODS], processed securely by [PAYMENT PROCESSORS]. For high-value orders, we may require a bank wire or additional verification before shipping. Title and risk pass to you on delivery.

Sales Tax, Duties and Import Taxes

Shipping, Returns and Warranty

Shipping, returns and warranty are governed by the policies linked above, which form part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

Buying Watches From You

When you sell or trade a watch to us, you confirm that you are its lawful owner, that it is not stolen or subject to any lien, and that the information you provide is accurate. Preliminary quotes are not binding until we inspect the watch in hand. We may require identification and report transactions as required by Florida secondhand dealer law and other applicable regulations.

Services

Servicing, appraisal, authentication and sourcing are provided under the written estimate or agreement issued for each job. Appraisals and authentication opinions reflect our professional judgment at the time of examination. Watches left uncollected for more than [ABANDONED ITEM PERIOD: 90 days?] after notice of completion may be handled as permitted by Florida law.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Caliber Watches and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caliber Watches is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or any purchase. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product shall not exceed the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally. [CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL: arbitration clause?]
